At Bell Street Dental Practice our friendly, approachable and experienced team is committed to understanding your needs, meeting your expectations and alleviating any concerns you may have. We are able to advise you individually on the best approach to good dental health and hygiene. We’ll also discuss with you the options available for any treatment you may require.
We are proud of the attention that we are able to offer our patients. Our top priority is taking time to ensure that we can give all of our patients the best and most appropriate routes for ongoing dental care.
First time visitors to the practice will be given the opportunity to discuss their dental needs and we will explain your current dental status so that you can make informed decisions about your teeth and gums.

Lydia graduated with a first-class honours degree from Cardiff University in 2018. Since then, she has gained experience across various sectors of dentistry including general practice, the restorative clinic of Cardiff Dental Hospital and community dental services. Lydia is passionate about providing personalised care, ensuring that every patient feels heard and treated in a calm and friendly manner. Lydia believes that dental treatment should be a stress-free experience and works with patients to create a happy and peaceful environment. With a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry, Lydia is currently pursuing postgraduate certificates in this field. Outside of work, Lydia enjoys staying active by going to the gym and relaxes with a good book – she is currently working her way through the Brandon Sanderson collection.

AJ is our resident dental implant surgeon and limits his practice to exclusively placing and restoring dental implants. He graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2010 and went on to complete his Dental Implantology training at the University of Pretoria in 2014 and gained his European Masters Degree in Dental Implantology from the University of Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid.
AJ provides lectures and mentorship to a number of dental implant surgeons that are furthering their careers by advancing their surgical skills and require assistance with clinically complex cases.
Always going the extra mile and treating patients as he would his own family, this has resulted in AJ priding himself in his colleagues and current patients referring more of their own family and friends for treatment.
When AJ is not working, he enjoys running and exploring the beautiful countryside with his lovely wife and two young children.
